Cookie Policy
How we handle cookies and browser storage. Spoiler: we barely use them. Last updated: March 2026.
Our Approach to Cookies
At Sinaptic® DROID+ (operated by Sinaptic AI LLC), we believe in minimising data collection. Our website is designed to function without tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers.
This Cookie Policy explains what browser storage technologies we use and why.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. There are also related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage that serve similar purposes.
What We Use
Our website uses the following browser storage:
- sessionStorage — language preference: We store your selected language (English or Ukrainian) in sessionStorage to maintain your choice as you navigate the site. sessionStorage is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab. It is not shared across tabs and contains no personal identifiers.
That is it. We do not set any other cookies or use any other browser storage mechanisms for tracking or analytics.
What We Do Not Use
We explicitly do not use:
- Tracking cookies — no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar.
- Advertising cookies — no retargeting, no behavioural profiling.
- Third-party cookies — no cross-site tracking of any kind.
- Fingerprinting — no device fingerprinting or canvas fingerprinting.
- Persistent cookies — no cookies that survive browser sessions.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics or Netlify Analytics for understanding website traffic. Both are privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics solutions that:
- Do not use cookies of any kind.
- Do not collect personal identifiers.
- Do not track users across websites.
- Are fully GDPR-compliant without requiring cookie consent banners.
This is why you do not see a cookie consent banner on our website — there is nothing to consent to.
Form Submissions
Our contact and enquiry forms are processed by Netlify Forms. When you submit a form, the data you provide (name, email, company, message) is sent directly to Netlify's servers. Netlify may use technical cookies strictly necessary for form submission and spam protection. These are functional, not tracking, cookies.
For more details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
Your Control
You can control and delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Since we only use sessionStorage for language preference, clearing your browser data will simply reset your language selection to the default.
Most modern browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies and storage a website has set.
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies.
- Block cookies from specific or all websites.
- Clear sessionStorage and localStorage.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our approach to cookies or browser storage, we will update this page accordingly. We are committed to maintaining our minimal-data-collection approach.
